**There are limited seats available so please call as soon as possible to confirm your eligibility and spot on our roster.
The goal of the CVAF is to have all programs offered to injured CF members at NO cost. Currently, you will be responsible for your own transportation and cost of food.
CVAF Programs include:
White water rafting - Professionally guided class 2 to 4+ rafting trips on the Bow and Kananaskis rivers, outside Calgary, Alberta. Visit our photo gallery for pictures of these great trips on these two very fun and beautiful rivers!
Equestrian Assisted Personal Development- Working with horses to improve communication techniques and gain deep personal insights. This can be an emotional course and is recommended for those Veterans who are ready for a close look at themselves and how they relate to others. This course is great for all veterans wounded or not, and their families. Be ready for a life changing experience. No horse experience necessary, just willingness to learn about yourself!
Horseback riding–Independent and guided horseback trips with approved guides.
Mountain Biking–Bring a helment or wear one of ours, join us as we pack our bikes into the Mountains for a day and discover muscles you forgot you had!
Hiking–A trail for every ability in Canada's great Rocky Mountains.
Fishing- Spend a day out on the water relaxing with buddies as you try out your skill or luck to see whos bringing home dinner for the group...no pressure!!
Golfing- Enjoy some time relaxing out on the links with some good friends. Always a hit with the vets!
